Stupid random pimple on my cheek. Lke wtf..? Of all places.. Havent had a pimple in ages. Must be too stressed out. Hahaha.

Was on the bus with Ashley just now. The bus driver was so crazy can? He was swerving and rushing around corners like shit. ME AND ASHLEY WERE FALLING ALL OVER THE PLACE DESPITE HANGING ONTO THE HAND STRAPS FOR DEAR LIFE. AND WE WERE LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY. But somehow the other people seemed so stable and cool. We have no sense of balance lah. Hahahaha. We were 2 laughing maniacs on the bus and everyone was looking at us.
Then I think one auntie couldn't stand our falling and laughing and said: Why don't you move in front and hold the poles. WE LAUGHED HARDER. If I were the auntie I would be so irritated man. HAHAHA!

First day of Block 4..

was okay. Time passes so quickly ! zomg.

Veron's our lecturer for Textile Manipulation. Except for the fact that she speaks exactly like my chemistry teacher Mrs Lai, she's cool. :)

Had an hour of lesson for today since Veron let us off early and Textile Fundametals start tomorrow. Finished up IVM assignment with Isabelle and Priya and it's the end of IVM ! I'll miss Harvey though. He's a funny guy. But it's okay, since he's an ADM lecturer. :)

Being a design student is making me broke. Our total cost for assignment 3&4 was near $80 including the printing and everything. Gotta pay 17bucks tomorrow for tools.

IVM is finally over. Well, not entirely over. We have to submit the final assignment by tomorrow. Had our presentation on Thursday. Presented to Christine and she really likes our design for "The Look". We were supposed to incorporate a designer's design and a stylist's style ( LOL) and incorporate them into one design. HAAAAPYYY !
I have to say I didn't reaaaalllly like the first few weeks of IVM but I loved the last week from the buying of materials to the finished product.

Our display box wasn't that good cos we rearranged it and it was not as nice as the day before. Pfff ! And I think it's nice but kinda on the safe side. Oh well..

Went to watch The Dark Knight today. Ohmygod the Joker ! Freaking sick but hilarious. Ohmy.
Heath Ledger is fabulous. BTW, Mommy likes Batman out of the all the super heroes. She thinks he's cooler than superman or spiderman. Cos spiderman (Peter parker) is a dork and superman wears his red undies inside out. Riiiiggghhhhhttt.

OHHH. In the earlier part of the show, Joker said something along the lines of " Do you not have the balls to do it?" And I caught a glimpse of the chinese subtitles. The subtitles for "balls" in chinese was "LP". I'm sure you guys know what it means. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! ( EILEEN ! LPP LP ! x) )

Guess whoever did the subtitles didn't know what balls are called in Chinese. What are they called anyway ? Anyone?

It's a combination of a tuxedo jacket, swing skirt (By designer) and corset ( By stylist). A dress for a masquerade or party. :)


The back. We did a sort of corset thing at the back. Spent 2 hours hammering the damn eyelets in but it's all worth it. ;D

Our dress is not bad ! And our display case is awesome. OHMYGOD.

Although the display case is a lil simple but it's niceeeee ! And there's some minor mistakes for the dress but what the heck. We're amateurs. ;D

Went to Bedok reservoir to collect twigs for our display. EWW BUGS. omg. All three of us hate bugs. Stupid worms and bugs. Felt so icky after we came back. Ahahahahaha.

But it's presentation tomorrow ! Ohmygod, Christine Foong is gonna interrogate ask us so many questions... ! I think.. SIGH

Whees! Bought something from Yvonne's spreeeee. I just realised that gojane rip off leh ! The same sandals from gojane are more expensive than cutesygirls. TSKTSK. But then again I saw some stuff on cutesy which are more ex than gojane. Oh well....

ROARS. Harvey changed the whole concept of our showcase. But we already bought our stuffs. And I think his concept looks weird with the shoe we're using for our display. He didn't even see our shoe larh. zomg.

And today is Racial Harmony Day ! On this day last year, I was wearing a sari which Kanages' mommy loaned to me and helped me wear it tooo! Haas. Fond memories. :)

I hate being unhappy cos when I'm unhappy, I indulge in comfort food and indulging in comfort food = fat= even more unhappy.

If you really want to know, my comfort food today was durians. And durian is so fucking fattening. Argh.

HELLO !

Been at home the whole day today. woke up, breakfast at Hougang green with Mommy, Fiona and Ana then went home. Watched tv, cramps, sleep, woke up, watched some more tv then went to the airport to fetch Daddy !

Oh and guess who i saw at the airport! I saw Lin JunJie. He was travelling incognito I guess, with shades and cap and all. So there weren't any screaming fans or whatsoever. Just him and a couple of his agents/family/pa. I don't know. But there were like 3 fans of his asking for his autograph or something. Apparently they recognized him. Ahahahaha.

And I walked past him just an arm's length away. JJ's fans are so gonna trash me. x) I'm never that lucky when Leehom comes to Singapore. ROAR!

Anywayz, we met Daddy then had dinner at Swensens ! Super nice lamb chop with mint sauce !!! Then had chocolate fondue! Sinful Indulgence. whee ! And I burnt my tongue. I dipped my marshmallow in the base of the bowl which was hot cos of the candle burning beneath, put it in my mouth and YEOW ! Pain !! And it's still stinging now. What the heck.

I really want a super duper uber long holiday right now. I need a break. 10 years would be nice. :)

Yah seriously, I broke my nail. Damn painful larh ! I was thrashing Fiona with a pillow when I broke it. So Fiona was laughing. Real Hard.
It broke off just before the nail bed but apparently I injured my nail bed too. There's like this tear in the nail bed and it's bleeding. Sort of like "internal" bleeding but you can see the blood through the nail. OUCH. Bleh~

No school today. Met Priya at Starbucks, Cityhall today to do our project. Isabella came later. I hate presentations okay. HATE. ><

And I HAD to choose to do the high-end retail store. How absolutely SMART of me. Cos it's like its fucking difficult to take pictures of the store. I went to Hermes by the way. Isabella said she went to the Factory Outlet store and nobody gave a damn when she took pictures. Cos I thought high end retail stores should be easy to do since they have good layouts and it's easy to say why they're good at visual merchandising principles !!!!

Went to Bugis after that cos Priya had to go to work at J.Co and I had to use her laptop. Did our stuff there for awhile then Isabelle went off. I went off after a while to Takashimaya AGAIN to ask if I could take pictures since the number they gave me to call kept disconnecting. And obviously I couldn't. I couldn't even take notes in the store ! Grrr.. I couldn't even look around without the salesperson following me everywhere.
And speaking of Hermes, I want that "30cm pink and violet goatskin" birkin ! No money larh. I'll need to have $16,000 to throw away. Sigh..

In my dream world, I'll be FILTHY RICH. Hahahaha.
Ohh, and surrounded by plenty of hot guys. Ooooh, eye candy! ;)

Out with class today for field trip at Orchard ! Was late though. I set my alarm at 6.20 but I shut it off. Oh wow. Absolutely brilliant of me. Tsk.

Reached Far East Plaza at around 8.20 and met up with the class. We went around looking at the various visual merchandising and window displays of the stores. Then Harvey treated us to Burger King. How nice! Thanks ! :)

Then he left for some meeting at school so we were free to go. Went with Jia, Sheena, Gabby, Li Ting and Rebecca to shop around. Takashimaya first then Paragon. We needed some pictures of high-end retail stores but I don't think we can take pictures so we were like quickly snap, then go. The Cartier - or was it Tiffany and Co?- manager was like looking at us. So paiseh ! *Eyes dart around and quickly scampers off*
Imma use Hermes for my assignment ! :)

Back to school next to hand in assignment 1 at General Office. Met Ashley there. Handed the stuffs in then Ashley, Sheena and Jia went to Bugis. And I'm back homeeee !


Something random~
Was reading the Co blog just now and suddenly I realised that I miss it. A lot. When I see the new faces, I think of how we used to spend our time there. The fun, the scoldings by instructors, the disappointments. The juniors probably don't even know who we are. It's like Skyco seems so distant now, memories of the past. Even most of the instructors aren't there no more.
Haven't been back in a while, something which I regret not doing. Sigh.. 8(

I am superbly grossed out.

I was watching Xiaxue's guide to cooking live crabs or something like that. First, they used the traditional method of killing the crabs which was to poke a chopstick through their head/ ass. Whichever. Then the second method was to chop the crab in half.

The last time I saw Ana chop the crabs in half, I screamed. Cos it was like, wriggling wriggling wriggling, then *CHOP* and it's lifeless. Dead just like that. Kinda-no, make that VERY- disturbing. Then I saw Xiaxue's video and I realised that Ana's method is way less painful for the crabs- and for my eyes.

Xiaxue was like trying her best to chop it in half but maybe cos she didn't use enough strength so it was just sort of 1/3 chopped. And it was STILL squirming-OUCH.

Oh fuck fuck fuck. I was covering my eyes and telling Fiona : Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod. It's like, if you're the crab right, someone just chopped you 1/3 and you're still alive leh ! Painful can ?! Painful doesn't even describe it. ohmygod. If that's the way all the chefs kill crabs... I guess I wont be eating crabs no more I would still love eating my crabs. Hahahahahaha.

Oh yeah! I remember the other time i went with my family to eat at some live seafood restaurant, my dad told me to pick out a fish. And suddenly this immense guilt came over me. Cos I was like sort of sending the fish to it's death. Im not trying to be like " oh you can't eat meat cos you're killing animals or whatever" cos I love my meat, thank you very much.

But it's still disturbing !! Cos it was swimming happily in the tank and 20 mins later it's fried or steamed or baked. Whatever. And for the whole of the meal, I couldn't bear to look at it's eyes.
I think I'm such a kuku. xp!

I would go on about the live prawns which are thrown into the boiling hot soup and then jump out due to the pain but are already half red(cooked), or the frogs who are skinned alive to make frog porridge or the SHARKS which have their fins sliced off and thrown back into the sea to await the horrible death of having more sharks bite pieces out of them but I'm guessing that girlfriends are gonna scream in exasperation. So I shan't go on anymore. Hahahahahahaha!

2nd day of block 2. nice. =) Went to Design Space after lesson cos Ferdi msged me to tell me my mascot was up for display ( Yayness! ) so the few of us had to present our mascots to the vip. Then had lunch/dinner with Lisa at design canteen. :)

Met up with Sweeyee, Apple and Yanheng at Amk hub. Went to make a police report about VIVIAN who's like the queen of Not Giving Pay. She owed me money for 2 1/2 months and only coughed it up after I bombarded her with messages and calls. She has been delaying Sweeyee's pay for 6 months and made up a lot of superbly lameshit excuses along the way. Oh wow.

My daddy is damn kuku larh ! LOL! There was an advertismennt just now about some girl whose shoes broke but her dad didn't give a damn. But he mended it secretly. My Dad was like saying, hey, check out this ad.
So after the ad, I said: Eh, what are you trying hint?
Dad: Isn't it obvious?

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Back home not long ago. Stayed in school till 8.40pm to finish up my sketchbook and I am DEAD tired. First day of block 3 today. I'm taking Visual Merchandising for this block! Harvey is effing hilarious. But he's the type of guy who's gonna explode if you provoke him too much.. I guess. So don't step on his toes! xp

Went out with Connie, Eileen, Jan and Peixin yesterday. Cos it was Connie's birthday! :) Met up with the girls and popped by Compass point for food. And to wait for Jan who's like FOREVER over sleeping. I know he's gonna call me a bitch again. xp. Then we were off to East Coast ! Rented blades there cos mine are seriously pathetic.

They're like what? 8 years old? And with a broken strap here and a hole there. Omg. I need new blades.

Blading was hilarious ! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Lols! But it was pretty tiring all the same. We headed to Kovan for dinner at Xinwang then to Hougang plaza for pool!
Had much much much fun yesterday! We gotta meet up again soon kay! Love you guys!
