There are 2 ladies who have been showing up at my doorstep every few weeks to share about the bible and God.

My dears, please stop it. It's getting kinda creepy. I told you over and over again I'm Buddhist. Stop trying to preach to me.
No offence to the other Christians out there.

No, I do not want to know how the universe was created. It's too much for my tiny little brain. (Oh yeah, please get your facts right before coming to my doorstep. The universe was not created just because "2 atoms 'pom' together".)

No, I really wanna get back to preparing for school instead of standing at the door listening to you.

No, I'm really not interested.

Yes, both my parents are Buddhists. You don't have to sound like I was forced to become a Buddhist just because they are. That is just plain rude. I chose to remain so.

I'm sorry but I was itching to just slam the door in their faces. They've shown up at my place for three times and it's getting on my bloody nerves.

And for the first time I ever saw them, they knew my Chinese name. How freaky is that? Sheesh.

I respect both you and your religion. Honest. I do. But really, just leave me be. Please?

And just so we're clear, this is totally not targeted at said religion. :)

Oh yeah. Happy 19th Connie! :D

Happy birthday Tree! :)))

Went out on a sassei/morga/log picnic today at Marina Barrage. Lol.
Kite flying is definitely not as easy as it looks. Not with a million other kites out there competing for space. Sheesh. The string of our kite tangled with two others, got cut and went tumbling into the water. Dang. It was hot as hell too.

Dinner at Simpang Bedok, hopped onto Weihon's truck for a fucking scary drive to och and then to changi beach for a romantic interlude. Okay, not a romantic interlude since there were like 7 of us. We just chilled and watched the planes fly pass overhead. Nice. :)

Peektures laterz. :)

I can't get to sleep so here's another post. I'm so gonna regret this in the morning.

Was watching some HK drama and Bernice Liu was talking about facing death in a positive manner.

I've always wondered what the point of living was. We are born, we go to school, we fall in love, we go to work, we fall sick, we die. It's like this routine that everyone goes through. So no matter what achievements you attain in your life, you still have to die right. Right ?

My mom said, some people want to leave a legacy, some people want to do good in the world. Some want to have a meaningful life. Deep. But I'm not really into the leaving a legacy kinda thing. I can't bring it into the grave with me anyway. And I don't really see the point in people lauding me when I can't bask in the glory. (Lol superficial I know)

And yet, somehow I'm afraid to die. Sometimes, I can't help but wonder, what if I were to die tomorrow? Or maybe in the next hour. How would I die? Preferably not in a painful manner. There are so many things I've yet to do and see. The future's staring at me in the face, full of unexpected twists and turns, it kinda scares me.

It's rather contradictory, I know.

I seldom blog about stuff like that so I'm sorta surprising myself too. I think most of my posts contain stuff which float on the surface if you get what I mean.

Oh by the way, what would my last meal be?

Pumpkin, chilli crabs, durian and lava cake! Whoohoo. Oh, and my grandmama's fried chicken. Her fried chicken drumsticks are crazy awesome.

I really miss her cooking. :( I like rice the way she used to cook it; moist and sticky, with braised eggs and steamed pomfret. Beansprouts with dao gua (beancurd?) too. :(

Father's day was on Sunday. Happy Daddy's Day to mine and all the fathers yea. :)

The week totally flew past and school has started. That was probably the last of my holidays as a student. Man. It's kinda sad if you think about it.

Partying with Priya, Pris, Joey and Indah on Wednesday night! Frickin funny night with four of the five of us on a high. Pris was the only one who remained sober.

Bitches yea.

Out with Ashley, Gabby and Xinkai on Thursday. Had a really belated hangover in the evening - I walked out of the house feeling okay but my head started spinning hours later. Starbucks at Suntec then walked around for a bit before heading to Clarke Quay.

Out with Ashley Xinkai, Gaen and Shijie on Friday to get Moses' present.

Was totally rushing from place to place on Saturday.
First to Bishan to pass Derrick his basketball, then to the Expo to catch some Shaolin performance thing with Mommy and Fiona, then headed to Moses's 21st party at his place and finally to Powerhouse for Mong's birthday. Whoohoo.

Like a kid playing with the Nerf we bought for his birthday.

Tradition. :D

Happy 21st! :)

Mong's birthday at powerhouse.

Hell yea jagerbombs.

I was walking from the restroom back to the dancefloor when I felt something warm on my leg. A drunk guy frickin puked on the floor and some landed on my leg.

C'mon dude, can't you like find somewhere else to throw up? Not on my goddamn leg. I'm still contemplating whether to throw my shoes away. :(

Right, I just found out that I've been accepted into Fourskin. Iz happppy. :)

I had my first ever facial today. Yeah noobshit. All I can say is: Torture. Followed by awesome shoulder massage and nice cooling mask which smells like grapes.

Right. I was supposed to go for my interview at Fourskin today but it's been postponed til tomorrow. Wish me luck people !

More photos from the photoshoot. Thanks to Jiajia for great photography, Belle for enduring the ants and the rain -outdoor shoots can be a pain in the ass- and Ashley for my nitpicking. :)

Favourite! I think the school building kinda ruined the background though.

Am gonna start the partying this week! I've been on a long hiatus for 2 months. Heh.

Holidays are here. And it's only for one pathetic week. Will be taking tailoring after the holidays then SIP.

I am going to spend the week in quiet solitude. Or maybe not. Idk man.
Definitely gonna sleep like a log. Sleep deprivation stinks. I'm already sipping on my second cup of coffee for the day now.

My interview is due on Monday. Kinda excited, kinda nervous. :/

I could be home now but I'm in school waiting for 8pm to come. We're gonna play catching in school. I have not done this in years. This is gonna be awesome shit. Hahahahaha. Nice way to end school. :D

Okay gotta gt back to my preparing my portfolio. Editing photos on a touch pad is annoying.

On the bus back home. Thank god for mobile modems. :)

Been kinda busy with submissions and all recently. And SIP. Still working on my portfolio. :/

Okay, so I've been assigned to Fourskin for my internship. You've probably seen its stores in Heeren and Marina Square if I'm not wrong. I really have no idea what to expect and I have yet to contact the company. Oh, and I have Yah Hoon with me! :)

Right. Portfolio. Some photos from the photoshoot on Saturday. Thanks to Aaron, Aloysius, Isabelle, Cassie and ShiJie for the help ya. :)

It's only been two days since he's come home and the noise has started again.

Don't move out again okay, both of you. I will. Then you can fight all you want and I won't be there to hear it. I'm tired of this. Fuck.
