Back from school. Was blogging just now but halfway the lappy died on me. Stupid acer laptop.
Anyways, I got my grades back ! Happy ! =)
Digital Essentials: A
2D Art Fundamentals: B
Design History & Culture: B
Visual Merchandising: A
Textile Manipulation: B+
Textile Fundamentals: B+
Fashion Merchandising: B
GPA : 3.43
So I'm quite happyyyy ! :D
Anyways, the timing for portfolio review today was super lousy. My timing was 2pm and we had to reach 45 mins earlier so I reached at 1.20. And you know what time I got to present?
FIVE ! Wah lao ! Waste my time. tsktsk !
Yeap, so the review wasn't as scary as I thought. Cos initially, one me vs five lecturers seemed super freaky. But it was okay lah. And the first thing that Christine asked me the moment I stepped into the room was" Have you checked your email?"
I blabbered some dumbshit about the last email I read being the add/drop thing and I think I sounded kinda incoherent so she asked if I had read the email sent to me this morning. So I said yeah and she said" Congratulations, you can choose your Diploma Plus!"
I was damn stupid I tell you. The first thing that ran through my head was, " What the heck is Diploma Plus?". I gave a reaaallly blank look and i just said, "oh okay." I think I was supposed to look happy so my blankness must have been retarded. ==
What a good impression to give the lecturers. Ahahahahahaha! (Later, Sheena told me that someone told us about Diploma Plus during Digital Essentials but obviously I hadn't been listening. :X)
Anyway, I finished my presentation and I was done !
Ohh ohh ! There was filming at Tp Design today ! They were filming in one of the adm rooms ! At first when we passed by we saw a row of mannequins with blazers and thought they were sewn by seniors or something. But then we realized they were props. == Saw Jeff Wang. Me and Madeline were peeping into the studio to watch the filming. Kaypohs. Hehehehe.
Then went up to get D&C stuff and went down again. And when the lift door opened, Jesseca Liu was right in front of us. Hahahahaha! She looks kinda different in real life though. ;3
Me and Sheena were predicting what the film would be about. And we came up with this scenario: An aspiring designer who is struggling to juggle both her studies and work cos she is not from a wealthy family but she wants to fulfil her dream.
SOOOO typical right ? Right ?? HAHAHA! We shall see !
But I don't watch channel 8 dramas leh.. Hmm..
I don't know if I should take Psychology or Business for Diploma Plus! I was still considering if I should even take it at all cos I am a lazy ass. The normal workload is already killing me so if I add in one more CDS I might just die. But everyone says it's a good opportunity and I think it'll help in future so.. I guess I'll take it.
